A rich site that covers a variety of topics using multiple approaches
(factual text, flash movies, interactive quizzes). Sections include:
Interactive body (organs game, skeleton game, muscle game, nervous
system game, puberty demo); Psychological tests (Can you read faces?
What disgusts you? Are you a thrill seeker?); and printable versions
for handouts.

Fifteen online games designed to help children understand basic concepts
in mathematics. Simple lesson plans also available by click "other
activities." Major topics include: Comparing and Classifying,
Patterning, Counting, Chance, Halves, and more. All games require
the Flash 5 Player or higher. Part of the larger, ABC Learn Online

The objectives of ARTiculation are to encourage you to look at a piece
of artwork and to understand what goes into the art making process.
Over fifty activities reinforce what has been learned in each section.
Main sections include Elements of Art, Principles of Design, and Art
Critiquing Process. Also contains a Timeline, Vocabulary Section,
and numerous lessons plans and worksheets (Activities) in the Resource
section. Requires Flash and Shockwave.
Adventures
of the Agronauts

Adventures of the Agronauts is an online science curriculum for elementary-aged
students with an overarching theme: how can we grow plants on the
Moon? Children become "Agronauts in Training" and complete
six different standards-based lessons towards the final goal of growing
plants on the Moon. Teacher resources are included. Glossary contains
some movies that demonstrate concepts. Some career information too.
Strange
Matter

Strange Matter explores the world of materials science, and investigate
the structure, properties, processing, and performance of "everyday
stuff". The site features online interactive activities, resources
for teachers and parents, experiments that can be done at home or
in the classroom, and video interviews with materials scientists.
The Web site was developed by the Ontario Science Centre in conjunction
with the Materials Research Society and the National Science Foundation.
Cyberchase

Colorful and funky, Cyberchase is a daily animated adventure television
series and multimedia project for children ages 8-11. Cyberchase helps
kids discover that math is fun. On a daily basis, the site is updated
to provide content specific to the day's broadcast episode. On a weekly
basis, kids can participate in online polls and send each other e-cards.
On a monthly basis, an Original Adventure will be added to the site.
There is also permanent content. Lesson Plans and additional information
