Theory
First, let's start off with a little bit about educational theory in relation to technology.
- The Encyclopedia of Educational Technology was created by Prof. Bob Hoffman at San Diego State University and provides short, graphically illustrated examples. It's fun too! Keep scrolling through the Table of Contents and you'll find many interesting points to consider when designing educational activities.

- Almost like being there! Don't overlook the materials now placed on university servers by pro-technology profs. You could even take a course online! The Department of Educational Technology at San Diego State has plenty of good stuff online for you to peruse. Check out Technologies for Teaching and Technologies for Course Delivery.

- No man is an island, and teachers and librarians are no exception! The key to successful technology integration means training and support. Don't we all wish we had a customized site such as Catalyst at our fingertips which addresses not only technology but educational technology as well? If you don't believe me, check out these Method Guides on Learning Styles.

- Let's not forget our own edtec offerings! We have "EdTech News," a hotlist of educational sites that specialize in the latest technology and learning applications. We also offer a column called "2bits" which features a few good websites and demonstrates how they can be used in the classroom.
