No Fear o' Eras

If you know what you're doing, go right to the No Fear o' Eras activity. Otherwise read through the links below, then get started.

Background
The purpose behind No Fear o' Eras is to explore some ways artists have changed the style of painting over the centuries. People who study the history of art have come up with some main periods or eras when artists who lived in that time and place used the elements of design in similar ways. This gave many artworks created by these artists a certain similar look or style. If you like, you can read a more complete description of the ideas behind this activity.

Instructions
If you are new to this activity, please read the detailed instructions. You can print these out and have them handy for the activity.
