Fiddling with Lines




Lines are an important way to separate chunks of information. There are two main things you might want to do to customize your lines: change the thickness and/or change the width. You can also place them in the Left, Right, or Center of the page.

Line Thickness

Here's a standard line: <HR>



Do you like it thicker?: <HR size=8>


What about a more solid line? <HR noshade>

 

Line Width

 

Here's the standard line again. It automatically covers the entire width of your web page: <HR>

See if you like it with a narrower width: <HR WIDTH=60%>

 

Combo: Of course you can do a combo: <HR size=8 width=65% ALIGN="CENTER">
