    Instructions

    Now that you know a little about your historic leader, your main task is to skim through the Web sites linked below looking for things that you think are interesting. Take notes of what facts, ideas, examples, and stories are the most interesting to you.

    1. Use the cluster below as a model for organizing what you find.

    2. When you are finished, join back up with your partner.

    3. Share what you have learned with your partner and see what he or she has learned.

    4. Together come up with three - five important questions that relate the past to the present. These questions should spring from you curiosity, not a need to complete the assignment.

    5. Write down the important questions and use them in a class discussion. See what your classmates think based upon what they may have explored.
