Introduction
In addition to using books and magazines to find out about Example Hotlist, why not also use the power of the Internet? The links below will get you started.
The Internet Resources
Educational Hotlists (Franklin Institute) - The Franklin Institute Resources for Science Learning website, www.fi.edu/learn, is an effort of the Educational Technology Programs team. The Franklin Institute's Educational Hotlists are organized lists of resources on the Internet that science educators, as well as science enthusiasts, may find useful.
Expanding Minds (PBS) - Some discussions here include: Why we still look at IQ scores? Is technology the cause of rising IQ scores? Has environmental or health factors increased IQ scores? Do current IQ tests reflect the idea of multiple intelligences? How does a person's race or socioeconomic background affect his or her IQ score? Should student testing be changed to reflect the times?
Graphic Organizers - Graphic organizer, concept mapping, and mind mapping examples.
What is an IQ Score? - A page long article on the IQtest, IQ measurement, and a definition of intelligence.
Wikipedia - Wikipedia is written collaboratively by volunteers from all around the world. With rare exceptions, its articles can be edited by anyone with access to the Internet, simply by clicking the edit this page link. This can lead to problems, so beware.
