Exploring America in the 20th Century - Visit this site to get a feel for what life was like during your particular time period. Search your decade in the frame at the bottom of the screen.
Information Please Almanac's Headline History - Provides a chronology of worldwide historical events from ancient to modern times. Especially useful for getting a list of world events that happened during a particular year. Click the link to 1000-2000 (A.D.) World History, then select the proper decade or year.
