All About Mammals
- This site has different topics about mammals, such as what a mammal is, different types of mammals, diets of mammals and many more. It has a lot of information and a lot of pictures, however the design of the site is not the most user friendly. This site is good for students as long as they know what they are looking for.
Birds

Virtual Insects
- This site has information about all types of insects, insects and people, and the anatomy of insects. This site is good for teachers to find information about insects.
Reptiles
Information about Reptiles
- Again, this is a list of about 20 reptiles. When you click on the link it takes you to a description and picture of the reptile. Very easy for students to use.
Reptiles as Pets
- This site is great for any students who want to or already have a reptile as a pet. It gives a description of the reptile, what type of habitat it needs to live in and what to feed the reptile. It's a useful site for a research paper about reptiles as well.
Reptiles in Canada
- This is a great site for students to navigate through. It gives general information about reptiles, it talks about reptiles found in Canada and students can play a Trivia Game (it's quite difficult however, more appropriate for high school students).
