Statistical Information - Number of medals by year, event, and country. Great for graphing. Excellent site.
The Schedule - Listings by day, by sport, by location.

Modern Olympics

Olympic Museum - Excellent site to look back at past winter Olympics to get information on medal winners. Also gives timeline of past locations
Parade of the Nations - List of participating nations grouped by continent. Each nation has interesting information about the country including a flag.
The Venue(Location) - Learn about Salt Lake City and the surrounding 14 sites that will host this year's Olympics
