Celebrate Poetry Month in April with the various resources located below.
In addition to using books, magazines, and other resoureces to find out about Poetry, why not also use the power of the Internet? The links below will get you started.
Some links are sites where your students can actually write their poem and have it automatically published. The first site is a class by class workshop where feeling comfortable about writing poetry is the main focus.
Also included in the Academy of American Poets as well as a workshop with some poets that are quite enjoyable. Many sites listed have a variety of suggested activities for teaching and learning poetry elements. Enjoy these sites!
