Introduction
In addition to using books and magazines to find out about Tall Tales, why not also use the power of the Internet? The links below will get you started.

After reading the 'sample' tall tales, draft a tale of your own. Use a roll of calculator paper to write your tall tale. Once you finish, cut the paper and unroll your tale. This makes a nice bulletin board display for your classroom. Make sure to add illustrations of your characters!
