Introduction
The Great Gatsby is read year after year in high schools. The novel potentially represents life in the 1920's and the destruction of the American Dream. I want to know what you think about this statement. Now that we have finished reading the novel, let's take a look at what it meant to live in the 1920's and attempt to define tha American Dream. In addition to using these Internet sites, I encourage you to look also at books and magazines in order to find out about The Great Gatsby, the 1920's, and the American Dream.
