As we learn the language of French, we begin to wonder about the country of France and the people that live there. Where is this country and what is it like? What industries are there? What can you see and do there? What is the weather like? How do you travel from place to place?
Sometimes we forget that we are not he only country on this Earth and that our way of life is not the same for all people.
Through this activity you will have an opportunity to research and explore some of the many features of France.
What and where is this place called France?
The third grade classes will be taking a trip to France. Your class is responsible for researching the country and presenting the information to all classes before we travel. You will be divided into four groups. Each group will research given topics.
As a member of the group you will explore Webpages from people all over the world. Because these are real Webpages we're tapping into, not things made just for schools, the reading level might challenge you. Feel free to use the online Webster dictionary or one in our classroom.
