Introduction

In the following WebQuest, you will use the abundant resources on the Internet to learn all about ZOO SAFARI. Each person will learn more about their chosen mammal to help them gain a better understanding about that animal and it's habitat.

The Quest

Chose a continent and a mammal on which you would like to make a report. Locate, research, and report on that mammal using the computer and software tools available to you.

The Process and Resources

Students are asked to complete the following tasks.

1)Introduce the mammal that you have chosen and describe the natural habitat that your mammal lives in.
2)Tell whether the mammal of your choice is a carnivor, omnivor, or herbivor and then describe their dietary habits.
3)Describe your mammals characteristics and if they have any special camoflage.
4)Write up your findings on the computer using the presentation software Powerpoint. The report must include an outline, introduction, main body, and conclusion.
