Editing a template fileWe'll start by working with a simple template using the Netscape editor. There are plenty of other editors (Claris Homepage, Adobe PageMill, Microsoft Frontpage, etc.). The Netscape editor isn't very powerful, but it is free. After we go through the basic editing techniques, you can start fresh to create your class or personal web page. Here's what you need to do: |

Click the edit button.

You'll see a few dialog boxes to let you know that the html file and graphics will be downloaded and that you may be violating copyright laws by editing someone else's file without permission.
You'll than see a dialog box that allows you to specify where you'd like to save your files.
