Welcome to Webtime Stories, an annotated collection of web sites for people who love children's literature. Though there is nothing quite like reading a good book, the internet combines the printed word with graphics, sounds, interactivity and animation to create rich and memorable reading experiences. Though there are literally hundreds of web sites on Children's Literature, Webtime Stories is not a comprehensive collection. Instead, think of it as a "best of" list, a gathering of sites that are truly worth a look. Whether your interest is picture books, science fiction, fairy tales or just plain fun, Webtime Stories has something for you. Each site has an introduction that describes its personality and details highlights. Enjoy!
