Nonprofit Prophets is an community action project that challenges groups of students to investigate a problem that they see in the world and then create a World Wide Web Resource page on the Internet that teaches the world about the problem. This project targets 9th and 10th grade English, Social Science, Health and Earth Science/Biology classes. It could also be used as a focal project in Applied Technology courses. |

Begun as a model project, now completely taken over by the zoo! This collaborative project between the Zoo, local high schools, and Education First become an integral part of the San Diego Zoo's Wild Ideas program. As a virtual intern, students recount their learning adventures on an eight week internship behind the scenes at this world famous zoo. |
